Director David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers) and writers Jon Lucas and Scott Moore (The Hangover) join forces to bring you The Change-Up movie - a comedy film starring Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman. Mitch (Reynolds) and Dave (Bateman) were once best friends, but they have drifted apart over the years. Mitch is a perpetual bachelor with a long list of sexual partners. Dave, on the other hand, is a burned-out lawyer who is married with children. Mitch envies Dave's life, complete with a high-power job, beautiful wife (Leslie Mann) and kids who idolize him. To Dave, Mitch is living the life: single and free, with no worries or commitments.
After a drunken night out with one another, Mitch and Dave wish for the other's life at a fountain; at that moment, a perfectly timed strike of lightning grants their wish. Although they switch bodies physically, their personalities remain the same, and both Mitch and Dave soon realize the other person's life isn't nearly as wonderful as it once seemed. Coming to theaters on August 5, 2011, The Change-Up movie takes the standard 'swap bodies' plot to a whole new level of comedy. Reynolds and Bateman delight audiences with their on-screen chemistry and charming personalities. Don't miss this must-see film.
